John McKeown, MA (Hons), M Ed Psych, AFBPsS: Chartered Psychologist, Managing Partner

Educated at Aberdeen, Surrey and Sussex Universities John has been a practising Psychologist for over twenty years. He has previously been an area Educational Psychologist for two local authorities. John specialises in assessment and advice on Educational, Occupational and Legal matters. He has been Managing Partner of John McKeown Associates since it formed in 1985.

Lynne Spencer, MSc. C.Psychol.

Lynne Spencer is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist who has worked with both organisations and individuals. She worked initally as an HR manager in industry and at the BBC, then specialising as a consultant in assessment, psychometrics, team building, organisation and career development, training and coaching

She is the author of 'Life and Career: A workbook for Managers' available from Amazon, and is a member of the editorial board of the magazine 'Coaching At Work'.

John Revell, BA (Hons), MBA, Dip Clin Psychol, Dip Couns: Chartered Clinical Psychologist

After completing his degree in Psychology at Sussex University, John completed his professional training as a Clinical Psychologist in 1987. He also has a counselling qualification. He has experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist at Consultant level in the NHS. Having more recently obtained a Masters in Business Administration at Brighton University, John has a special interest in organisational consultancy and training. He has experience of medico-legal reporting and has appeared in court as an expert witness.

Sima Patel, B Sc (Hons), M Ed Psych, PGCE: Chartered Educational Psychologist, Training Manager

Educated at the University of Sussex, Sima began her career as a teacher. After two years she returned to study at the University of Exeter where she obtained her Masters in Education specialising in Educational Psychology. She has worked as an Educational Psychologist for the last twelve years in the UK and abroad. Sima is also an experienced consultant and trainer at a personal and organisational level.

Susan Dutfield Cert Ed, BA(Hons), MA, Dip.RD, PG Dip (Clinical, Supervision and Consultancy)

Susan Dutfield is a psychologist and qualified Cognitive Analytic Therapist working in the NHS and in private practice for 12 years, working with children, their families and teachers, both in the family home and in schools.

She is also a qualified teacher and university lecturer who acts as consultant to schools and care institutions. She is available to undertake supervision and consultancy work.

She is a member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapists

Dr Esmoreit Sleyster, Ph.D., C.Psychol

Educated in the Netherlands and at the Tavistock Clinic in London, Dr Sleyster has been registered as a practising Clinical Psychologist for nearly twenty years. She has a first degree in teaching 'Social Science', and obtained a Clinical Ph.D. in Child and Family Psychology from the Tavistock Clinic and Birkbeck College. The Ph.D. research formulated a model of consultants' role taking during consultation in organisation and clinical contexts.

In addition, Esmoreit has received extensive training in consultation and working with organisations at the Tavistock Clinic in London, and is currently undertaking the 'Executive Coaching Skills Development Programme' with the Tavistock Consultancy Service, which will lead to a Tavistock Accredited Certificate in Coaching Skills. Esmoreit describes her consultation and coaching style as informed predominantly by the systems and psychodynamic models of working with organisations.

During her work for the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist, Esmoreit has developed expertise in staff management, project management, and in working on a consultation and mentoring basis with different groups of management in the NHS and the Local Authority. Esmoreit joined John McKeown Associates at the end of 2005.

Dr Esmoreit Sleyster offers a Professional and Executive Coaching and Consultation Service. Coaching and consultation are confidential, objective and non-judgemental services available to professionals and executives, on an individual and/or team basis.

The service aims to explore personal and organisational obstacles to success, to identify possibilities and unlock hidden resourcefulness, and to facilitate personal and professional development and performance.

The service helps clients with career enhancement or with a wide range of work-related concerns by focussing on relationships between individuals, their roles, the work of the organisation, and the environment in which the organisation operates.

Coaching and consultation are generally conducted on a face-to-face basis, and can be complemented by telephone or e-mail at request. The number and length of sessions depends on the client's requirements, and will be discussed in a free-of-charge introduction meeting, and reviewed at agreed intervals.

Dr Sleyster uses a number of frameworks in her consultation and coaching role and specialises in the systems-psychodynamic model of working with organisations, while incorporating solution-oriented and cognitive behavioural techniques where this seems relevant.
